A recessed meter panel is needed for an outdoor residential application. The board will need to fit in with the design of the building and, the clear cover has to be readable years down the track. Originally, a three-phase meter was specified but it turned out only a single-phase meter was necessary (hence the large meter panel enclosure).
The Solution:
This meter panel is used in a residential application although similar panels can be mounted or recessed onto any building. The straight, flat sides of this Cubo P enclosure means that the panel can be recessed easily into the wall and the stylish design fits in well with the buildings aesthetics. emf can provide your enclosure with an etching primer which will make the board easier to paint (and increase the longevity of the paint) if you need to paint it to fit in with the buildings colour scheme.
With these enclosures being constructed out of Polycarbonate, the UV resistance is much higher than that of a different plastic composite enclosure such as ABS or Fibreglass. Over the past three years of this enclosure being installed, this switchboard is as good as new and the meter still readable through the clear cover.
