Switchboard Upgrade

A replacement switchboard was requested that was non-metallic, weatherproof, and could be mounted in a coastal area as the existing metal switchboard was showing signs of breaking down due to being exposed to the elements. This switchboard also needed to be future-proofed so that more ways can be added in the future. A minimum of 36 3pole ways and have room for a single-phase meter.
The Solution:
Cubo P was used as this is the most adaptable switchboard system to add to in the future and is a weather, chemical, and UV safe enclosure. Two 6TP, 100A, 24module multiclip distribution systems were installed which allowed for single and three-phase RCBOs and MCBs to be mounted on the same rail. This saved time and space when installing this switchboard. Overall this solution helped to tidy up the existing system by ensuring that there was sufficient room to allow for the distribution wiring, meter panel, and e/n bar.
